The Tragedy

Our hearts and prayers go out to the families and friends who are affected by the evil acts of senseless violence that struck the town of Newtown, CT. These people are searching for answers and solace in a world that doesn’t make sense. America hurts with you.

Get off the Government Tit known as Welfare

There is a drug epidemic that is running rampant unchecked in America. This drug is Welfare.  It causes hard working Americans to become nothing more than couch potatoes, also known as Lazy. The left has worked hard to spread this drug, and like all dealers keep their clientele hooked.Welfare is the Government tit

A man’s worth is mesured by his work

Man (This is Men AND Women) has always strove to feel important. Whether it is through work or how many people hang on your next tweet. We have to find value, and we do. Many people though have lost site of what value is. Many people value material items. While, some see value in little successes, for instance seeing their son graduate after four long emotionally draining years of high school, or even saving money up to open their own business.

People have lost the desire to excel, to dream, to make the most of life. It is now all about keeping up with the Kardashians and to see if we, as a society can emulate the government. Instead of  creating our success through hard work and the proverbial Blood, Sweat, and Tears. Our society wants the next quick fix. We now have shame in our scares of failure. Yet people brag about getting their next government check.

America is accused of being addicted to friegn oil but in truth we are adicted to the government tit. The American Society Jones for this valueless free money and lie cheat and steal for it. As with any addiction it robs from the whole for a selfish satisfaction.

Why is welfare or helping the poor bad?

There is a big difference between welfare and charity. One has shown that through time if you don’t give the poor and poverty stricken a reason to stay in poverty they will want to get out and improve their standings.

I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it.

Benjamin Franklin

When you make people comfortable in poverty by giving them welfare. You “help” people to stay in poverty. If you look at the levels of poverty before the advent of major Welfare that happened in The Great Society of the Johnson Administration (1963-1969). At this time the poverty level and unwed mothers was low, very low in today’s standards, hovering around 5%. But once Welfare came into play and The Great Society implemented its welfare programs the level of Unwed mothers and poverty skyrocketed. Yes, I know there was welfare before that but it was shame not glory like it is today.

Now I know you are saying, “WHAT! You jumped a line there bub!” It may look like that but unwed Mothers and Poverty pretty much go hand in hand. Granted yes sometimes there are unwed mothers that fight so hard that they are able to get out of the poverty hole, and I would be pretty sure they took little to no welfare.

Anyhow, at if you look at what the unwed mother level was it had jumped to 10% and has been climbing ever since. As of 2008 the level was a little over 40%. In this time people also have come to believe they are entitled to have help from the Government, because of this line of thought and the different social programs that have been put into effect. This sense of entitlement has caused people to rely on the drug known as Welfare.

Now Charity is different because people have to work for their help. There is usually a sense of shame that comes with it. Shame is not a bad thing in fact it is good for people to feel shame. When they feel shame it is cause they realize that they are some place they need help or they start to notice they have an addiction. Charities are people helping people. There are many stories of kids starting their own charities to help the less fortunate and to give back to their community. This face to face action is actually where the shame comes from cause they actually have to look the person that is helping them in the eye. This is why charity has a better success rate than the government. There is anonymity because the welfare recipient is using a little plastic card that looks like a credit card, or they can get their transactions done with out the embarrassment of  handling actual food stamps.

Why Do you call Welfare a drug?

Because it is. That simple that cut and dry. Take away a persons food stamps and watch how out of control they will get. Tell them they are about to get cut off and watch them sweat. Have mood changes. Watch these people try to find a way to stay on food stamps. There is an addicting element to the government dole. I know I was on food stamps for about 10 years.

When I found out I was going to be cut off because I made too much. I experienced sleepless nights. If I did sleep it was not very fitful rest because I would toss and turn with  my brain turning a hundred miles an hour. I contemplated actually quiting my job so that I could get back on food stamps so I knew my family would be fed.  I was look at the situation as an addict. Instead of looking at the success of actually getting paid enough to get off of stamps and handing actual green backs to the cashier to purchase food or even some luxury items. Like a phone or paying for a house.

It took about a year for the full effect of the addiction to wear off, and have pride of the accomplishment to settle in its place. I learned that budgeting is a good thing. I learned that you are able to do more when you save your money. I learned that Food stamps, and yes I will forever call them food stamps not EBT or SNAP, was not a good thing. I saw how dark my life was and how much better it had become. I realized that the American Dream is still alive and well, even though it is under attack from this administration. Our Dealer in Chief other wise known as the Food Stamp President wants everyone on the Government tit. So that government will take care of you. Sorry, I was on that road. I didn’t like it thought it was a smooth ride till I realised that the pot holes were filled with false pride.

America needs to get off the Government tit.

We as Americans must learn to stand on our own two feet again. even though our toes are constantly being stepped on by progressive “Well Meaning”. We have to start redefining pride and honor back to the original meanings, and not have some bureaucrat dictate what is pride and honor. Food Stamps needs to have the stigma of shame. It is good for people to feel shame. When a person feels shame they welcome honor when it comes to them. I wonder how many times a persons boat actually came in only for them to walk away from it because it meant that they were going to have to give up this addictive drug.

America has always been a hardy stock. We crossed mountains because  we wanted to know what was on the other side. We suffered through Bitter cold winds, water, and frost bitten feet to win a war. When we set our eye to an objective we accomplish it with the help of other people, not from the government or any benevolent welfare it wants to set in our lap. Yes we will have to hitch up our pants and face this addiction head on, and by God we will do it.

The Reason for Climate change is revealed!Nanny Bloomberg

http://ca.news.yahoo.com/clinton-arctic-see-impact-climate-change-151737949.html

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took a first-hand look Saturday at the way a warming climate is changing the Arctic, opening the region to competition for vast oil reserves.

Experts here estimate the value of the Arctic’s untapped oil alone — not including natural gas and minerals — at $900 trillion, making it a huge prize for the five countries that surround the Arctic if they can reach it.

And with climate warming opening up some 46,000 square kilometers (18,000 square miles) a year that had once been bound in ice, the region is expected to burst open, not just with oil exploration but with East-West trade along a more accessible northern route.
